Student Stacy Tolos founded Synergy, a program that pairs Nashville teens with Vanderbilt student mentors to provide guidance on the college application process and SATs. In 2006, junior Jenny Magill, a secondary education and history major, received both Harry S. Truman and Morris K. Udall Scholarships. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in environmental education and policy, and then to work as a high school teacher or educator and advocate in a nontraditional setting.
