Opportunities for Graduate Students
Many opportunities exist at Peabody for graduate students to develop and conduct research. Students and professors work side by side developing, recruiting, preparing, and completing research projects.
The Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) is one example of a faculty/graduate student research project . CSEFEL is intended to promote the social emotional outcomes and enhance the school readiness of low-income children birth to age 5, and to serve as a national resource center for disseminating research and evidence-based practices to Head Start and Child Care programs across the country. This particular presentation demonstrates the working relationship between professor and student as co-investigators on the project.
