All Ed.D. classes are held on Friday and Saturday. Generally, the schedule is Friday, 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, 8-5 p.m.
All cohorts in the Ed.D. program are required to take the core courses listed in Table 1 below, regardless of specialization.
Tables 2 and 3 detail additional courses required for specialties in Higher Education Leadership and Policy and Educational Leadership and Policy, respectively. These additional courses are displayed in bold.

Higher education leadership and policy equips practitioners with theoretical and research-based perspectives that facilitate effective operation of institutions and organizations such as colleges and universities, government agencies, professional associations, and consulting companies.
Through required courses, participants focus on colleges and universities as organizations, the college student experience, the structures and processes of the academic profession, public policy and higher education, economics and finance of higher education, marketing and external relations for higher education, and international higher education.

The Ed.D. program in educational leadership and policy prepares students to lead educational organizations and hold related professional positions. Courses include those in administration and organization, school reform, information management systems, instructional leadership, and resource allocation and deployment.
