Peabody's master of education program in English Education offers the opportunity for advanced study in language and literacy theory, reading and literature pedagogy, sociolinguistics, new media, composition studies, curriculum, and cultural diversity. The master's program is comprised of an array of students, including those seeking initial teacher licensure and experienced teachers returning for graduate study. Programs of study require 18 hours of coursework in English education in addition to core requirements, and are tailored to individual student's interests and career goals.
