Peabody's master of education program in Mathematics Education is designed to extend the academic background of mathematics teachers and provide advanced work in mathematics education. Programs of study require 18 credit hours of coursework in mathematics and mathematics education with a minimum of 9 hours of mathematics numbered 230 or above. Whether the student is interested in elementary, middle, or secondary areas of mathematics, programs can be designed to fit individual students' interests and career goals.
