Reaching out: professors and students engage with communities near and far
Friday, October 26, 2007, 8:30 - 4:00 p.m.
The Center for Community Studies would like to invite graduate students and faculty members to participate in a one day conference to highlight past, ongoing and future research projects in which they are engaged. The purpose of this conference is to allow participants to share research reflections and results with fellow students and faculty; as well as have the opportunity to solicit some helpful feedback. Any topic that pertains to community issues is welcome! Students are especially encouraged to participate.
Feel free to invite community partners to attend or participate in the conference. However, please let us know by the proposal deadline who we can expect.
Proposals for presentations deadline: Sunday, October 14 by 5:00pm
Please submit a completed presentation proposal form to Joshua Bazuin by the deadline.
