To take an active role in student government issues, which will lead to positive change for Peabody and the Vanderbilt community. To uphold Peabody's traditions and to participate in the Vanderbilt and Nashville communities.
That Peabody students will use the Peabody Council as their voice in student government, as a means to become more involved in community service and other Peabody activities, and as a foundation for becoming a more unified student body/Peabody family.

It's a fun and exciting opportunity to energize a student organization and make it the most known and active council on campus!
You have the ability to participate and shape the future of this organization and have your voice be heard compared to other organizations, which rarely give freshmen much power.
You have the opportunity to become involved in Vanderbilt and Peabody while strengthening your ties with your classmates.
It's a valuable way to gain leadership experience and have fun in the process!
