Peabody Professional Institutes are residential in nature. Summer Fellows live in university residence halls on the Vanderbilt University campus and take their meals as a group with PPI faculty. On-campus living is an important component of the educational experience and it is not optional.
In the evenings, fellows will work together on projects and case studies, and prepare for the following day’s activities. Additionally, PPI takes as one of its goals the creation of a cadre of professionals who will rely upon each other in the future for support and advice. The close associations developed through the living and learning experience will serve fellows well beyond the conclusion of an institute.
