Researchers Probe Pay Incentives for Teachers
Individuals selected to participate in each institute will be recognized with the title "Summer Fellow of Peabody College" for the year they are selected. During their respective institutes, fellows will be exposed to the primary sources which comprise the best current thinking about administration, learning, management and education.
In addition, participants will join the ranks of other Peabody alumni who are leaders in the fields of education and human development throughout the world. More than 10,000 Peabody alumni are practicing teachers, more than 175 are school superintendents, and more than 30 are college or university presidents.
Fellows are eligible to attend special alumni events designed for them, including invitation-only lectures and receptions at professional conferences, and will receive a subscription to the PPI newsletter which updates alumni on program developments and accomplishments by their fellow institute colleagues.

“Outstanding program for any independent school leader. Topics were current, outstanding speakers, provoking discussion, and wonderful hosts. ‘Best bang for the buck’ that I have attended in 30 years for true professional development. It highly compliments SAIS leadership programs. I recommend both.” – Pat Taylor, Principal, St. Paul’s Episcopal School
