Researchers Probe Pay Incentives for Teachers
2010 date TBD
The Institute for Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers is presented in partnership with the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) and focuses on the role of admissions and registration professionals in the larger context of the college or university. Rather than concentrating on management skills and internal structure, this institute explores ways of positioning these offices to be assets to the larger organization. Fellows will examine different avenues to situate academic enrollment services in the 21st-century landscape.
The institute format features breakout group discussions centered around presentations from leaders in the field. Participants will leave the institute with the necessary tools to develop and investigate solutions in order to make meaningful changes. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to become part of a strong and growing alumni network, and will receive access to notes and updates from future institutes to further professional development.
“In the midst of making a career transition, the PPI HEMI was the perfect experience. It gave me a global perspective on the issues facing H.E. and the tools needed to make institution changing decisions.” – Steve Rook, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Rich Mountain Community College
