Researchers Probe Pay Incentives for Teachers
Vanderbilt University's Institute for School Superintendents is an intensive experience for individuals who lead and manage school districts.
Designed to challenge participants intellectually and to sharpen their skill sets, the institute draws from the breadth of Vanderbilt's faculty and is informed by the research literature and knowledge arrayed around issues faced by modern education leaders.
The institute faculty comprises a list of the nation's foremost experts on each of the topical areas participants will explore, including: performance incentives, faculty evaluation, leadership assessment and feedback, education politics, principal certification and professional development, evidence-based best practices, data-based decision-making, and communication strategies.
Our institute differs from other professional development experiences because we restrict enrollment to ensure an engaging experience tailored to the current issues facing each participant's district.
