What kind of jobs would I be able to get as a graduate of the Child Studies program?
The M.Ed. in Child Studies program prepares you for careers in which your expertise in child development will be valued. In addition to positions in health care, private corporations and foundations and numerous small business opportunities, here are some of the ways the skills you learn in the Child Studies program can be applied after graduation:
Must I have an undergraduate major in psychology to compete for a position in the M.Ed. in Child Studies program?
The program is open to students from varied disciplines. We're looking for bright, motivated individuals who have a strong interest in working with children and families. To date, our students have been child studies, child development, education, human and organizational development and psychology majors.
What is the minimum GRE score and GPA required?
Your combined GRE score should be at least 1000 and your GPA should be 3.0 or higher.
