Kevin Ross

Kevin Ross is President of Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL and graduated from Peabody in 2006 with an Ed.D. in Higher Education.

"The range of backgrounds of the folks with whom I studied was remarkable. There were folks from across the nation at various levels within their respective schools or universities. That really added to the curriculum."

On the complexities and challenges of leading a university he reflected, "In my role as leader of a university, I find myself continually reflecting upon and drawing from my experiences at Peabody."

Ross commuted to Nashville from Florida on the weekends for his coursework, Ross says, "I will not lie to you, it was demanding and draining flying to Nashville six weekends each semester. However, in some way, the experience also was energizing…it gave me an opportunity to unplug and reflect on what was happening back home at the university."

Lynn University is a private, SACS accredited university with undergraduate and masters programs in five colleges and 24 majors.
