Doctoral Training in Randomized Field Trials of Instructional Interventions with Emphasis in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging
The Leadership Training Program in Randomized Field Trials of Instructional Interventions with Emphasis in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging incorporates an innovative approach to train doctoral-level researchers to conduct research that links randomized controlled studies in reading, mathematics, or writing with cognitive neuroscience and neuroimaging techniques. Students receiving funding through this training grant will complete a minor in neuroscience and neuroimaging; work on an ongoing randomized field trial in reading, mathematics, or writing; and complete an internship with the Vanderbilt Institute of Imaging Science.
The program includes:
- Full tuition leading to the Ph.D. degree
- Monthly living stipend for which 20 hours per week is required working on a research study
- Full-time student status
