Designed for those with an interest in teaching young people from seventh through twelfth grades across all curriculum areas, our Secondary Education program offers an opportunity for vigorous course work as well as internships and licensure. Your course of study in secondary education will include requirements and additional courses required for teacher licensure with an endorsement for grades 7-12. A number of program options have been designed based on scheduling and degree requirements.
Master's degree requirements (32 semester hours minimum)

Audits for Licensure
Audit of your transcripts and current program are conducted to determine if you are lacking any liberal arts courses that are necessary for licensure and if you possess the necessary course work in your teaching major.
