U.S. News & World Report has again ranked Peabody among the top five graduate schools of education in the nation. The college has been included in the top five for the last three years. A new national research and development center has been created at Peabody College. It was established through a $10 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences. Researchers will focus on answering one of the thorniest questions in education policy: Do financial incentives for teachers, administrators, and schools affect student achievement? The college is now home to three national education research centers.
