Five departments; areas of expertise include:
- developing community
- leading in varied settings, including Pre-K, K-12 schools, and higher education
- understanding cognitive and psychological development and learning
- meeting special needs for learners from pre-K to grade 12
- learning and teaching in diverse environments
More than 15 research centers and outreach programs; including three national research centers (more than any other college of education):
- assessing the performance of education leaders in K-12 and higher education
- evaluating the effectiveness of charter schools
- improving math and science teaching
We enjoy an entire campus, with our own library, on the grounds of Vanderbilt University. Peabody’s campus is completely wireless, including the mall. Our on-campus cafés offers espresso drinks, fresh soups, salads, organic snacks, and French pastries.
The entire Vanderbilt campus has been awarded National Arboretum status and is a beautiful oasis within easy reach of downtown and neighborhoods with distinctive character and affordable housing.
