Contributing to the Newbrough Award Fund
The Newbrough Graduate Award honors Emeritus Professor J.R. "Bob" Newbrough, who helped found the Community Psychology graduate program and its successor program, Community Research and Action. Since Professor Newbrough's retirement from full-time teaching in 2002, efforts have been made to increase the prize amount to honor the scholarly achievements of our students. We encourage individuals to give generous support to the award fund as a way to honor both Professor Newbrough and the continued excellence of our student publications.
Please send your tax-deductible donation check made out to "Vanderbilt University" to Sandy Strohl, HOD, Peabody #90, 230 Appleton Place, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN 37203, noting that it is for the HOD Newbrough Award. You may also earmark all or a portion of your general Vanderbilt contribution to this fund by indicating that it is for the HOD Newbrough Award.
