Dean Benbow visits the White House
The Peabody Office of the Dean in cooperation with the Vanderbilt Office of Sustainability and Recycling has been actively making full-scale recycling a reality on the Peabody campus. Building on a long tradition of reuse and recycling of the school's resources -- books, furniture, and even recycling one of our trees on campus which died, into beautiful wood objects for faculty and staff.

Peabody also created an emphasis on recycling for the May 2008 Commencement celebration, setting up portable recycling stations around the campus and cutting down on waste. Read the full story.
