Milner presented AACTE Outstanding Book Award
Recent issues of the Peabody Journal of Education have focused on immigration and education, small learning communities and the use of interim assessments.
The Peabody Journal of Education: Issues of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations (PJE), America's second longest-running publication devoted exclusively to educational research, practice, and policy, is committed to providing information and reasoned opinion that will enhance understanding and practice among institutions and individuals concerned with human learning and development.
A New Editor
We are pleased to welcome Robert Crowson, Ph.D., Professor of Education in the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations at Peabody College, as the newest editor of the Peabody Journal of Education. As author and editor of numerous education publications throughout his long career, Bob Crowson brings significant expertise to the journal. His research focuses heavily upon the study of urban school organization and administration, though his interests are much broader in the field of education policy and practice. We look forward to what his leadership will bring to the PJE.
Bob Crowson assumed the editorship in spring of 2010, following James Guthrie's tenure of fifteen years with the journal. We wish Jim the best in his new work and are indebted to him for his significant contributions to the PJE.
