The Peabody Treatment Progress Battery (PTPB)

PTPBWhile CFS can use any measure the CFS child and youth application uses the well-validated Peabody Treatment Progress Battery (PTPB). The PTPB (2nd ed.) is an integrated comprehensive set of measures of key mental health outcomes and clinical processes intended for use with youth aged 11 to 18 years and children 3-10. The battery of 11 measures was designed to take between 5-8 minutes if administered using the recommended schedule to complete with each measure taking 10 seconds to 2 minutes. Easy to administer, repeated use of these measures offers clinicians and others systematic feedback on their clients, both individually and in relation to other clients served. Information is collected from the client, caregiver and clinician. All of the measures are currently available in English or Spanish, and are written at a fourth-grade reading level.
