Decision Analysis IV: Education Policy and Program Evaluation
Description:
This course is designed to: (1) introduce students to concepts and methods of program evaluation; (2) enable students to design, analyze, and interpret program evaluations, based upon appropriateness and rigor of the study's theoretical framework, design methodology, and analysis; (3) build students' understanding of the politics of program and policy evaluation, and its role in mediating the impact of evaluation on policy; and (4) improve students' skills in oral and written analysis and presentation.
