CURRENT RESEARCH TOPIC/FIELD-BASED PROJECT
Project: NSF grant to develop a reliable and discriminant measure of conceptual and procedural knowledge within the domain of functional thinking in early algebra learning. Use this measure to examine the role of direct instruction and self explanation on knowledge retention and transfer within the classroom.
