Financial Aid Checklist
In order to properly apply for financial aid, please keep the following procedures and deadlines in mind:
- February 1: Deadline to complete and submit the on-line Peabody College Financial Aid Application (merit and need-based)
- March 15: Deadline to complete the Vanderbilt University Financial Aid Application for Professional and Graduate students
- March 15 - April 30: Award letters mailed for Peabody scholarships and endowments and departmental aid to admitted students
- May 1: Preferred deadline date to have the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) submitted is May 1. Check the financial aid calendar for other important FAFSA due dates. Tax information is needed to complete the FAFSA.
- April 30 - August 1: The Vanderbilt Financial Aid Office notifies students of their eligibility for need-based state and federal loan packages. Students must have completed the Vanderbilt University Financial Aid Application and submitted the FAFSA.
