Dayle A. Savage, Ed.D. recently completed her doctorate from Vanderbilt University with an emphasis in human resource development. Her current research is in the area of consultation and the practice a consultant develops as roles are defined during a consulting engagement. Professor Savage, a Lecturer at Vanderbilt, is also Director of the Peabody Career Center assisting Master's students in the Human Resource Development and Organizational Leadership degree programs.
While in graduate school she began her business, spiraLearning, in 1999. As a career coach and consulting professional, she partners with individuals to create the success, balance and fulfillment they desire in their business and personal lives. Her specific interest is to improve their overall organizational effectiveness specifically in the areas of leadership, organization development and financial challenges. Her clients come from a variety of industries including but not limited to healthcare, technology, education, hospitality, entertainment, and professional service organizations.
Prior to opening her practice, she had a successful career as an HR professional specializing in leadership and organizational development, training, recruitment and career planning for sixteen years. Dayle is originally from Illinois but admits that she "grew up" in Nashville. She is a qualified MBTI administrator and will complete a three-year certified coaching program in April 2006.
