Serves as Vice Chancellor, General Counsel and Secretary at Vanderbilt University, as well as Professor of Law. Practices in the area of all aspects of Higher Education Law. Teaches and researches in the areas of Sports Law, Education and Law, Higher Education Administration and Law, and Discrimination Law and Education. Presently working on a number of pieces. One on Title IX and Higher Education, one on de facto cases in Higher Education in the south and one on the tax exemption that exists for certain educational institutions.
