Michael Pullmann, M.S., is a predoctoral fellow in the Community Research and Action program in the department of Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University, Peabody College. Mike completed his B.S. in Human Development with a minor in Developmental Psychology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. He completed his M.S. in Applied Developmental Psychology from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. Prior to attending Vanderbilt, he worked for several years as a researcher at the Regional Research Institute for Human Services in Portland, conducting research on children's mental health, juvenile justice, family participation in mental health treatment, and youth with mental health problems who are transitioning to adulthood. His is currently interested in innovative treatments for youth in juvenile justice with mental health problems, juvenile justice policy, quantitative analysis methods, analyzing data using provider and agency Management Information Systems, and community-based research methodology. Mike is a trainee on the NIMH Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services Research Training Grant.
