Emily Sheffer, B. S., graduated from Belmont University in May 2005 with a major in Psychology. As an undergraduate, Emily worked on research projects regarding social interaction, heroism, and having a purpose in life. Emily has worked as the Project Field Operations Manager for the Vanderbilt Character Education Project, one of 7 national sites in a 3-year Social and Character Development grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education and the Centers for Disease Control. The project is evaluating a local character education program, Love In A Big World, to examine the effectiveness of character education in elementary school children. She is also assisting with the clinician feedback project.
