| Purpose: | To provide support for research that contributes to the individual's and Peabody's scholarly advancement. To provide nurturance of excellent research by faculty, especially junior faculty, who may have limited funding opportunities or research that may stimulate subsequent external funding. New faculty with start-up funding are a low priority for this program. Preference will be given to those who have not previously been awarded a Small Grant. However, productivity on the prior grant will be considered in making an award. |
| Eligibility: | All faculty, including Research Associates, Research Professors, Clinical and Practice, whose primary appointment is with Peabody may apply. |
| Award: | Up to $10,000, with expected average of $5,000 to $6,000. If given an award, the applicant is expected to submit any grant proposal based on that award through Peabody College. |
