Graduate AssistantYoujin Chung is a second-year MPP candidate in Education Policy at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College. Studying in four countries, Youjin experienced different education systems and grew interested in how education assessments shape classroom learning across cultures. Before coming to Vanderbilt, Youjin taught math to high school students in the San Francisco Bay Area and also worked with low-income middle school students on developing financial literacy. Her research interests include student mental health, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), formative assessments, and grading policy. At the Tennessee Education Research Alliance, she provides support for research projects, particularly on the state's education labor market. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
