Alicia Hymel
Research Specialist, Peabody Research Institute
Alicia Hymel is a Research Specialist at the Peabody Research Institute. Alicia earned her M.S. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University with a concentration in Cognition and Cognitive Neuroscience. Her graduate research focused primarily on event perception and human-robot interaction. Prior to her graduate studies, Alicia worked as a Research Associate at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
At PRI, Alicia is involved in study coding, data management, and data analysis for meta-analytic projects spanning multiple topic areas, including: programs supporting postsecondary success, programs supporting teen pregnancy prevention, and the variability of treatment effects in youth programs. Alicia is also a certified What Works Clearinghouse reviewer for group design studies.
