Katarzyna Steinka-Fry

Katarzyna has worked at PRI since 2009. She earned a graduate degree in sociology from the University of Gdansk in Poland and masters in public administration from Georgia Regents University (formerly Augusta State University). Prior to joining PRI, she worked for Augusta State University Research Center, local Emergency Management Agency in Georgia, and Marshal’s Office of the Pomorskie region in Poland.

Her current work at PRI involves data collection, management, and analysis for various projects. Those projects include the evaluation of academic and behavioral consequences of visible security measures in schools, meta-analysis of brief alcohol intervention effects for adolescents and young adults, and evaluation of the Recovery High Schools as continuing care. Katarzyna has also been recently certified in the IES What Works Clearinghouse evidence standards and procedures for reviewing group design research.

Among Katarzyna’s professional interests are evaluation research methodology and local immigration processes and policies. She currently serves on the Executive Council of the American Society for Public Administration, TN-Chapter.
