Research Coordinator, Department of Human and Organizational Development
Nicole Hinton is the research coordinator for the Nashville Longitudinal Study of Youth Safety and Well-being. She is responsible for collaborating with community stakeholders and managing multidisciplinary research activities. She has more than ten years of experience in data management and statistical analysis spanning economics, education, finance, public health, and public opinion research. Nicole has managed survey operations throughout the world, including longitudinal data collection for randomized control trials. In the field, she has conducted interviews, trained enumerators, and overseen data collection. Tying these all together, she contributes to manuscripts and disseminates information to relevant communities of interest. Her expertise and interests lie in research methods and community-based research initiatives. She earned a master's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2012.
