Shelby McNeill is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Leadership, Policy, & Organizations at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. Her research interests include K-12 education policy, educational equity, school accountability, and quantitative methods.

Her current research projects with Dr. Gary Henry include school turnaround and reform in North Carolina; evaluating state plans to improve low-performing schools under the Every Student Succeeds Act; and summer learning loss in K-3 early literacy.
