LPO Graduate Programs: Leadership That Works

One of Peabody's strengths is developing research, testing it in national and international education environments and providing students opportunities to learn from research and apply it in their professional lives. Students have opportunities to learn from leaders in the field of education research, policy, and organizational development and leadership.


The following graduate degrees are offered in the Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations:

Ph.D. in Leadership and Policy Studies with concentrations in K-12 Educational Leadership and Policy, and Higher Education Leadership and Policy. The Ph.D. course of study is theory-oriented and geared to those who will be new academic leaders.

Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and PolicyHigher Education Leadership and Policy, or Online Leadership and Learning in Organizations Ed. The Ed.D. and online Ed.D. are application-oriented and geared to those who will be senior managers.

M.Ed. in the following areas:
Higher Education Administration
with concentrations in Enrollment Management, Higher Education Policy, International Higher Education, Student Affairs, or General Higher Education Administration

Independent School Leadership

International Education Policy and Management

Masters in Public Policy (MPP) in Education Policy. A dual degree (J.D./M.P.P.) is also offered.
