Educational Leadership and Policy Ed.D.

Educational Leadership and Policy prepares students to lead educational organizations and to hold related professional positions such as association executives, government officials, and private sector consultants. Offered through the college's Department of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations (LPO), this professional course of study will enhance intellectual understanding, deepen leadership capacities, and position participants for elevated organizational responsibility and expanded community or civic influence.

The Ed.D. program enables practicing professionals to gain a greater understanding of human learning; educational institutions; interaction of the larger society with educational, financial, and governmental arrangements; and means by which research can be conducted and successfully applied.

The Ed.D. program offers a weekend-based curriculum that can be completed by eligible participants in 36 months. Classes are usually held on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday.
