Company - Google
Short bio of your previous experience and current position
Prior to attending Peabody, I taught 7th and 8th grade math in Charlotte, NC through Teach for America. While teaching I became interested in the impact that leadership and culture had on performance, specifically in the context of student achievement. While at Vanderbilt, I had the opportunity to work as a Recruiting Coordinator at the Career Center, where I was able to apply the theories and strategies we were learning about in our LOP classes through the creation of a strategic plan around a diversity and inclusion plan. Ultimately I was able to leverage my classroom learning and hands on experience into a role supporting tech staffing at Google in Austin, TX. In large part to my experiences at Vanderbilt & Peabody, I was immediately asked to join initiatives aimed to improve the culture and performance of our organization.

Company - MissionPoint Health Partners
Short Bio - Upon graduating college I began my career as a teacher and coach at a private school outside of Atlanta, Georgia, and after three years I felt it was time for a change. My goal was to either segue out of education or further my career with an eye on administration. The Leadership and Organizational Performance program at Vanderbilt's Peabody College afforded the perfect opportunity to assist in determining my career path. After my first year I was able to intern at MissionPoint Health Partners: a subsidiary of Ascension Health in their Care Management branch. Upon completion of my internship I was able to remain with the company as an Operations Lead.
