Nashville CC Recognizes Michelle Reising Scobey as an Emerging Leader

Michelle Reising Scobey, assistant professor of the practice and co-director of the M.Ed. clinical psychological assessment program at Peabody College, has been given an Emerging Leader award by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Young Professionals Network of Nashville (YP Nashville). She was recognized in the “Medical & Health Care Services” category. She was one of 15 winners out of a field of 75 finalists.
According to the Chamber’s announcement Professor Scobey “manages the program, teaches graduate-level courses, provides clinical supervision, advises students, and is active in research. [She] also has successfully started her own clinical psychology practice, providing assessment and treatment services to families coping with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and medical conditions.”
This is the 10th year the Nashville Chamber and YP Nashville has presented this award, recognizing young professionals who excel in their career and who have positively impacted the community.
