Peabody faculty, graduate students present at AEFP Annual Conference

Over 40 Peabody faculty, researchers, and graduate students will present findings during the Association of Education Finance and Policy’s 42nd annual conference March 16 – 18 in Washington, D.C.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Education Policy and Research in the Post-Obama Era.” The presentations by Peabody representatives will draw on a variety of social science expertise resident in Peabody’s Departments of Leadership, Policy, and Organizations and Human and Organizational Development.
Among the topics discussed will be school choice and desegregation, best and new practices in school leadership evaluations, teacher hiring and evaluation, state and federal roles in higher education funding, teacher turnover, online learning, and meeting the needs of diverse learners.
