Next Steps is a 4-year inclusive higher education program for students with intellectual disability. We are hiring for a graduate assistant to join our team this fall. This position offers an hourly pay of $16/ hour for 20 hours a week at flexible times and will be for two years. This position will support with developing a recruitment plan to increase national reach as well as developing and enhancing recruitment materials, as well as using social media as a platform for telling the story of Next Steps and spreading awareness to impact recruitment. Additionally, the role will support Next Steps as we prepare for national accreditation through aligning our work to match the expectations for accreditation standards. Additionally, this role will support with planning and executing a professional development event for high school teachers and counselors, to increase knowledge and awareness about inclusive higher education programs like Next Steps. Next year, this role will support with bridging resources to students in Next Steps living off campus to support their meaningful engagement on campus.
