Welcome to the Applied Behavior Analysis M.Ed. program at Vanderbilt University! We are excited for you to become a part of our community of passionate and industrious scientist-practitioners. We are committed to using innovative applications of behavioral principles to produce socially significant improvements in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families and those who support them. We are already confident you will be a contributing member of this community.

Our program involves not only rigorous coursework but also opportunities for high-quality supervised fieldwork including a variety of activities, such as providing classroom consultation and intensive intervention in school, clinic, and home settings. Our students also receive opportunities to assist with research projects led by world-class faculty in special education and applied behavior analysis. Our combination of rigorous coursework and real-world application opportunities positions our graduates to make an immediate impact on the field and on the lives of the individuals they support.

As you weigh your options and professional goals, please reach out to us with any questions you have. We will be happy to answer questions, provide information, and connect you with current students and our graduates. We are excited at the prospect of working with you, and certainly hope you choose us to support you as you proceed toward your professional goals.

Sincerely,
Johanna Staubitz, Ph.D., BCBA-D, ABA Program Director
