On behalf of the faculty of the Leadership and Organizational Performance program, I am delighted to welcome you to the LOP program. We are pleased that you have chosen to join us, and we are committed to making your academic experience rich in knowledge acquisition, skill development, and applied practice.

Our faculty bring practice and research perspectives from many relevant fields including business, education, government, sociology, and psychology - and from many disciplines as well, including coaching, organizational development, human resources, leadership development, and consultation. LOP alumni can be found in for-profit companies, non-profit organizations, government, and educational agencies all over the world. We are confident that you will be successful in leveraging your LOP degree to pursue your career and leadership goals.

Students in the LOP program enjoy the many benefits that accrue from our status within Vanderbilt University and Peabody College, consistently listed among the top handful of graduate schools of education in the nation. Be sure to check out the wealth of resources we offer our students, including career counseling, campus work opportunities, sports and social events. Many of these links are on our home page. Stay tuned for more information over the next several weeks about housing, financial aid, coursework and campus resources.

As you consider next steps, please feel free to contact Ms. Rosie Moody (Admissions Coordinator) or Dr. Kim Davenport (Program Director) with questions. We are eager to provide any information or support that may be helpful. We can also connect you with current students and LOP alumni who can share their experiences.

Let us know how we can be of assistance as you get acclimated to the campus and the great city of Nashville. We look forward to getting to know you and have you become part of the strong LOP legacy!

Sincerely,

What has been the highlight of your program thus far? Undoubtedly, the most outstanding aspect of my program thus far lies in the dynamic interplay between the people and the courses. The diversity within our cohort has proven instrumental in shaping my educational experience, providing me with a multifaceted perspective that continually challenges and enriches my point of view.

The courses themselves have been nothing short of exceptional. They have seamlessly integrated theory with practical application, allowing me to delve into real-world projects. This hands-on approach to learning has been invaluable, as it not only equips me with theoretical knowledge but also furnishes me with practical experience. These experiences are poised to become invaluable assets, preparing me for the challenges and opportunities that await in the corporate world post-graduation.

In essence, the amalgamation of diverse perspectives and the immersive, practical learning environment have rendered my program a transformative experience, one that is shaping me into a well-rounded, capable, and prepared professional ready to navigate the complexities of corporate life beyond graduation.
