Angelique Crutchfield is a doctoral student in the Department of Leadership, Policy, & Organizations at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. Her research interests include school turnaround, education finance policy, educational equity, and school leadership. Her current research work with Dr. Christopher Candelaria is focused on student-based budgeting. She is also working on a project related to the Every Student Succeeds Act.
Prior to her doctoral studies, Angelique worked as a high school counselor in MNPS. She holds a B.A. in Psychology and African & African-American Studies from Washington University in Saint Louis and a M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University.
