Kristin Anderson

Over her 10+ year career at Peabody College, Kristin has worked in various international roles within the Office of the Dean, where she facilitates global and community engagement to enhance Peabody collaborations with new and existing partners. Additionally, she supports the college's research agenda through her role in the Peabody Research Office.

Kristin also serves as the Managing Editor for the American Educational Research Journal, the flagship journal of the American Educational Research Association, which is currently under the editorship of Dr. Ellen Goldring, Executive Associate Dean.

From 2013-2018, Kristin was Director of Abu Dhabi Educational Operations in the United Arab Emirates, serving as Vanderbilt University’s official representative to the Abu Dhabi government and overseeing three partnership projects to support the Abu Dhabi Education Council's school reform efforts.

Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Kristin lived in the United Arab Emirates, first as a U.S. student Fulbright Scholar, then working in the Office of the Dean of Students at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
