Dean Halman is a Middle Tennessee native and has called Vanderbilt home for over ten years (first as a student, then as a staff member)! Dean Halman is responsible for the consistent and accurate maintenance of student records, in collaboration with campus partners and in compliance with FERPA and other University policies – including registration, record changes, and graduation confirmation. Additionally, Dean Halman is in charge of creating and processing changes to the Peabody degree audit system, overseeing the curriculum management process, and maintaining the academic handbook and catalogs. She also works closely with the University Registrar’s Office, academic departments, and the Associate Deans for Undergraduate, Professional, and Graduate Academics to construct the academic schedule each semester for all courses within Peabody College, including all classroom assignments.
