Graduate Assistant 1 - Programming and Partnerships | |
Primary Duties: • Assist in the planning, execution, evaluation, and assessment of key programming pieces (Orientation, Retreats, and Selections) • Collaborate with Scholars through advising meetings to create service goals • Evaluate Scholar progress on outlined goals throughout the year at key points • Strengthen program outreach and relationships with service partners and potential applicants • Assist with the creation and launching of a new service logging system • Engage with community partners and stakeholders across Vanderbilt University • Provide integral support during High School Finalist Selections • Attend select meetings and events as needed • Assist the Program Coordinator with various reports and projects, as needed • Bring a fresh perspective and positive outlook to shape programming moving forward Skills and Qualifications: • Demonstrated interest in student development, service learning, and community engagement • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Detail-oriented • Sound professional judgement • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively when needed • Experience with program administration and assessment preferred • Technological proficiency preferred • CPR certified preferred, or willing to gain certification as part of job training • Protection of Minors trained preferred, or willing to gain certification as part of job training Complete position description. |
