Graduate Assistant 2 - Program Operations | |
Primary Duties: • Collaborate with offices across campus to execute key logistical needs of the program • Engage with Scholars to collect key information that informs programming • Engage with Nashville community partners and stakeholders across Vanderbilt • Assist in planning complex events that shape ISP culture • Orientation • Selections • Senior Reception • Regularly update social media pages to better connect the program to alumni and important stakeholders • Evaluate, then redesign the Ingram Scholars Program website to better articulate program history and goals • Engage with Ingram Scholar Alumni and integrate valuable perspectives into programming • Provide integral support during High School Finalist Selections • Assist the Program Manager with various reports and projects as needed • Attend select meetings and events as needed Skills and Qualifications: • Demonstrated interest in student development, service learning, and community engagement • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Detail-oriented • Sound professional judgement • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively when needed • Experience with program administration and assessment preferred • Technological proficiency preferred • CPR certified preferred, or willing to gain certification as part of job training • Protection of Minors trained preferred, or willing to gain certification as part of job training Complete position description. |
