Next Steps at Vanderbilt is an inclusive higher education program for neurodiverse students. Next Steps is seeking Graduate Assistants to support career development initiatives within the program. Roles include supporting with apprenticeship development.

Apprenticeship Coach: The Apprenticeship Coach will work with the Next Steps team on developing and implementing project ideas for a Department of Labor grant around expanding inclusive registered apprenticeships for neurodiverse students. Tasks may include day-to-day management of current apprenticeship programming, support at registered apprenticeship or pre-registered apprenticeship sites, and assigned research, development, and outreach of expanded apprenticeship programming.

Seeking Candidates Who:

Demonstrate a knowledge of inclusion

Effectively communicate and work collaboratively with others

Have an ability to individualize to students’ skills and needs

Exhibit strong time management and organization skills

Has prior experience with neurodiversity, mentoring or coaching, higher education programming, or project development

**Preference for students who can commit to 1-2 years**
