Sarah Kirschbaum

In my third year of law school, I worked in the UNC Domestic and Sexual Violence Clinic. Most of the clients I worked with had experienced, or were currently experiencing, trauma. My time at Peabody taught me how to be more trauma-informed when working with clients, so I am better able to validate their experiences, understand their stories, and work toward achieving the best legal outcomes for them.

The Peabody Difference comes from how individualized the programs are. I was able, and even encouraged, to craft my own experiences by selecting the courses and internships that I was most interested in. This freedom and independence helped pave my way to law school.
