What ELLs program provided me is not just how to teach my students but more of how to learn and grow together with my students. I developed my expertise and confidence as both a teacher AND a learner and found out where my interests and passion lie. I have been dedicated to helping every language learner to become an active participant in life and study. The program helped me to visualize what ideal classroom teaching looks like and how everyone, including teachers, could benefit from it. This keeps encouraging me to have higher expectation for myself and work to the very best of my ability wherever I am teaching.
